Obligation to Recover Fluorocarbons
CHLOROFLUOROCARBONS (CFCS) AND HYDROFLUOROCARBONS (HFCS), WHICH ARE USED AS REFRIGERANTS IN CAR AIR CONDITIONERS, CAUSE OZONE LAYER DEPLETION AND GLOBAL WARMING, UNDER THE AUTOMOBILE RECYCLING LAW, COMPANIES THAT COLLECT CFCS ARE OBLIGED TO RECOVER THEM.

CFC take-back and destruction consignment
Automobile manufacturers are responsible for taking back the fluorocarbons delivered by the fluorocarbons collectors and entrusting them to be destroyed.

Criteria
Automobile manufacturers have established take-back standards to ensure safety in the collection, storage, and transportation processes, as well as to achieve convenience and social efficiency for fluorocarbons collectors.
*Please note that if the "properties," "packing style," and "pick-up method" specified in the pick-up standards are not met, the pick-up will be refused in principle and no charge will be made for the recovery of CFCs.

In order to prevent leakage during transportation, we are unable to accept large cylinders that do not have a leak-proof cap and are not packed in a dedicated cylinder case.
Please prepare a special case for cylinders and a leak prevention cap by filling out the application form below.
IN ORDER TO DELIVER CFCS, THEY MUST BE STORED IN SPECIAL TOOLS. THE ORGANIZATION WILL SEND A LOGISTICS TOOL TO THE FIRST-TIME VENDOR, SO PLEASE FILL OUT THE FOLLOWING APPLICATION FORM AND FAX IT TO US.

IF YOU WISH TO REQUEST PICKUP BY FAX USING THE DESIGNATED COLLECT-ON-DELIVERY METHOD, PLEASE FILL OUT THE "CYLINDER/PALLET PICKUP REQUEST FORM" AND FAX IT TO THE CFC RECOVERY CALL CENTER.
Automobile Refrigerant Delivery Letter
When a large cylinder or pallet is delivered to a designated pick-up location, a delivery note for CFCs must be attached to each large cylinder or pallet. Please fill out the necessary information and place it in the "Automobile Refrigerant Delivery Note" and attach it to the large cylinder/pallet.
*If you use the designated payment-on-delivery method, you do not need to prepare a delivery slip for CFCs since the special slip for CFCs brought by the shipping company at the time of pickup will be used as the delivery slip for CFCs.

Payment Methods for CFC Collection Fees

Refrigerants reported to the designated collection point from the first day of each month to the end of the month
The payment amount will be transferred to the account of the financial institution designated by the business at the time of application for registration in the Automotive Recycling System at the end of the following month.
*If the information specified at the time of registration with the Automobile Recycling System is incomplete, the transfer of funds may be delayed.
*If you use the "designated payment-on-delivery method," the transportation fee will be paid directly to the affiliated transportation company, Yamato Transport Co.

The Japan Automobile Recycling Cooperation Organization (JACO) will send you a "Notice of the Amount of Automobile Refrigerants Collected and Statement of the Fee Payment" for all business locations by the payment date.
For a detailed statement of the number of airbags collected (activated) and the amount paid, the Japan Automobile Recycling Cooperation Organization will send a "Statement of Charges for Collection and Activation of Airbags, etc." for all business locations by the payment date.
