Obligation to Recover fluorocarbons

CHLOROFLUOROCARBONS ( FLUOROCARBON) AND HYDROFLUOROCARBONS (HFCS) USED AS REFRIGERANTS IN CAR AIR CONDITIONERS CAUSE OZONE DEPLETION AND GLOBAL WARMING, THE AUTOMOBILE RECYCLING LAW REQUIRES FLUOROCARBONSCOLLECTORS TO COLLECT FLUOROCARBONS.

Fluorocarbons collection and destruction consignment

Automobile manufacturers are responsible for taking back the fluorocarbons delivered by the fluorocarbons recovery operators and entrusting them to be destroyed.

Collection Standards

Automobile manufacturers have established take-back standards to ensure safety in the collection, storage, and transportation processes, as well as to achieve Fluorocarbonsconvenience and social efficiency for collectors.
*Please note that if the "properties," "packing style," and "pick-up method" specified in the pick-up standards are not met, the collection will be rejected in principle and Fluorocarbonscollection fee will not be paid.

Collection Standards for fluorocarbons

Properties (1) Do not mix different gas types [ fluorocarbon(R12)/HFC (R134a)] in cylinders to be used.
(2) Do not mix Fluorocarbonscollected for reuse with Fluorocarbonsdelivered to automobile manufacturers, etc.
3) Do not mix Fluorocarbonscollected for reuse with Fluorocarbonsdelivered to automobile manufacturers, etc.
Packing Style (1) From the viewpoint of safety, delivery shall be made in accordance with the "Guidelines at the time of cylinder delivery" set by automobile manufacturers, etc.
(2) Automobile Fluorocarbonsdelivery letter must be attached to each large cylinder and dedicated pallet (not required for the designated payment-on-delivery method).
Receiving Method (1) Deliver Fluorocarbonsto the designated pickup location by the transportation method applied for in advance.
(2) Delivery reports must be submitted under the electronic manifest system.

What to do when the Automotive Recycling System stops

In the event of a disaster, failure, or some other malfunction of the Automotive Recycling System that stops the movement reporting function, please follow the PDF below to enter your e-manifest after the system is restored.

Regardless of the system outage, operations such as handover of used vehicles to the next business operator can still be performed. In this case, please keep a ledger or a memo for inputting the necessary items for later inputting, and input them after the system is restored.

Automobile fluorocarbons Delivery Letter

When delivering large cylinders/pallets to the designated pick-up location, a delivery letter Fluorocarbonsmust be attached to each large cylinder/pallet. Please fill out the necessary information and place it in the "Automobile FluorocarbonsDelivery Letter Insert" and attach it to the large cylinders/exclusive pallets.

*If you use the designated payment-on-delivery method, you do not need to make a car Fluorocarbonsdelivery note because the Fluorocarbonspickup slip brought by the carrier at the time of pickup will be used as the car Fluorocarbonsdelivery note.

FluorocarbonsPayment Methods for Collection Fees

Payable to

fluorocarbons reported to the designated pickup location from the first day of each month to the end of the month

The payment amount will be transferred to the account of the financial institution designated by the business at the time of application for registration in the Automotive Recycling System at the end of the following month.

*If the information specified at the time of registration with the Automobile Recycling System is incomplete, the transfer of funds may be delayed.
*If you use the "designated payment-on-delivery method," the transportation fee will be paid directly to the affiliated transportation company, Yamato Transport Co.

Arrival Date

FluorocarbonsFor the details of the amount of vehicles picked up, etc. and the amount to be paid, a "Vehicle FluorocarbonsPickup Volume Notice and Fee Payment Statement" will be sent from Japan Auto Recycling Partnershipby the payment date, which consolidates all the offices.

For a detailed statement of the number of airbags collected (activated) and the amount paid, a "Statement of Airbag Collection and Activation Fees and Other Fees Paid," which consolidates all business locations, will be sent from Japan Auto Recycling Partnershipby the payment date.

The "Automobile FluorocarbonsCollection Amount Notification and Fee Payment Statement" will be sent to the "department in charge of recycling-related matters" registered at the time of business registration.
Airbag collection and operation fee payment statement" will be sent to the "department in charge of recycling-related matters" registered at the time of business registration.
