Furthermore, this fiscal year, to eliminate improper processing of airbags and confirm the implementation status of safety measures, the Japan Auto Recycling Partnership (hereinafter, 'the Partnership') and auditors commissioned by the Partnership (Yano Research Institute Ltd., Nissan Creative Services Co., Ltd.) will conduct unannounced※ on-site audits. ※In exceptional cases, audits may be conducted with prior notice.
Additionally, in the event of a significant improper incident being discovered, onboard actuation of airbags operations may be immediately suspended. In such cases, onboard actuation of airbags operations will cease from that day forward, and only removal and collection will be permitted. Please be aware of this in advance.
For some operators, on-site inspections by national agencies will also be conducted, so please cooperate with the acceptance of audits and inspections and their smooth progress.
