Request for Cooperation With On-site Audits of Airbag On-board Deployment
* See below for materials in foreign languages
Japanese русский اردو عربي
This year, too, in order to eradicate the inappropriate processing of airbags and check the implementation status of safety measures, etc., Japan Auto Recycling Partnership (JARP) and JARP-contracted auditors (Yano Research Institute and Nissan Creative Services) will conduct on-site audits without notice*. For certain operators, on-site inspection will also be carried out by a national or local government organization, so please cooperate with acceptance of audits and inspections to ensure they progress smoothly.
* Advance notice of the month of visit, which has been implemented as part of measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, will not be implemented from this financial year..
In addition, if seriously improper events are discovered during on-site audits, the on-board deployment of airbags may be suspended immediately, with only airbag recovery being possible from that day onwards.
Because the following materials will be posted on the JARP website, please make sure to check them in advance.
1) Matters regarding on-site audits
2) Materials for in-house education and the thorough dissemination of information regarding appropriate processing
3) Other matters of note
- (1) Registered business may have their registration canceled if no operation delivery reports have been issued for an entire year or if dismantling business permits have not been appropriately submitted to JARP, etc. (See (2) of 1) above for details.)
- (2) In the event an accident has occurred during airbag processing, preserve the worksite to the greatest extent possible (such as taking photos) and immediately contact JARP. (Please prioritize the instructions provided by the police, etc.)
