This year, too, in order to eradicate the inappropriate processing of airbags and check the implementation status of safety measures, etc., Japan Auto Recycling Partnership (JARP) and JARP-contracted auditors (Yano Research Institute and Nissan Creative Services) will conduct on-site audits without notice*1,2. For certain operators, on-site inspection will also be carried out by a national government organization, so please cooperate with acceptance of audits and inspections to ensure they progress smoothly.
*1This year, too, as part of coronavirus countermeasures, we will be sending advance notifications of the month such visits will take place.
*2In exceptional cases, audits may be conducted after notification.

In addition, if seriously improper events are discovered, on-board deployment of airbags may be removal and collection. In such cases, please be aware that on-board deployment of airbags will be suspended from that day onwards, and only removal and collection will be possible. For certain operators, on-site inspection will also be carried out by a national government organization, so please cooperate with acceptance of audits and inspections to ensure they progress smoothly.

Because the following materials will be posted on the JARP website during these audits, please make sure to check these materials and respond accordingly. Also, please ensure all employees involved in on-board deployment are thoroughly informed regarding proper deployment and also provide in-house education thereof.
